Bombay Yogakshema Sabha is happy to announce the institution of ‘THADAM RAMAN BHATTATHIRIPPAD’ AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE. The award is in honor of the highly respected Philanthropist, Founding Member of Bombay Yogakshema Sabha, and a long-standing advocate of strengthening community standards as a means to further social progress. Mr. Thadam Suresh Bhattathirippad, son of Late Thadam Raman Bhattathirippad, finances the Award, which comprises a cash grant of Rs11111.00, citation and a memento. The Award will be given on an annual basis to a person, persons, or group in recognition of their outstanding contributions, over a period, in the promotion & propagation of charitable activities of the Sabha. The first Award will be given in 2014, during the BYS ANNUAL GATHERING. All live members of the Sabha are eligible to nominate a person, persons or group. The Managing Committee of the Sabha will scrutinize the recommendations or nominations and the final announcement will be made during the BYS Annual Gathering.
